Our team, the Paparazzi, were matched with our client Michelle Grayson-Feldman based on our interests. Michelle Grayson-Feldman is a high school ILC teacher at Broomfield high school. Ms. Grayson-Feldman teaches students with a range of physical and cognitive disabilities. Although a teacher for many years, the transition to online learning has been a challenge for herself and her students. In particular, many of her students struggle to present their worksheets in focus to their computer camera. Our client therefore struggles to review and grade the student’s work. The current process that our client uses to collect student work is as follows. The students and teacher attend class on GoogleMeets. The student holds their work up to the computer camera with their hands which challenges their fine motor control and hand-eye coordination. Our client then takes a screenshot of Broomfield remote classroom. Our goal is to create a deliverable that streamlines this process for both the teacher and the student.
